What types of metal do you accept?
We accept many types of scrap metal, including copper, brass, aluminum, stainless steel, insulated copper wire, aluminum wheels, radiators, metal pipe, and other approved metals.
Do you buy copper?
Yes. We accept several grades of copper, including bare bright copper, #1 and #2 copper, copper pipe, and insulated copper wire.
Do you buy aluminum?
Yes. We accept aluminum including sheet aluminum, extruded aluminum, aluminum wheels, gutters, and other aluminum materials.
Do you buy brass?
Yes. We accept yellow brass, red brass, plumbing brass, and other brass materials.
Do you accept aluminum wheels?
Yes. We accept aluminum car and truck wheels.
How are scrap metal prices determined?
Scrap metal prices vary based on the type and grade of metal, weight, condition, and current market prices. Contact us for current pricing.
Do I need an ID to sell scrap metal?
California has identification and transaction-record requirements for scrap metal purchases. Please bring a valid government-issued photo ID. Additional information may be required depending on the transaction.
Why might my payment be delayed?
California has delayed-payment requirements for certain nonferrous metal transactions. Some transactions may qualify for exceptions. We can explain the applicable payment process when you bring in your material.
Do you accept metal from businesses and contractors?
Yes. Contractors, electricians, plumbers, businesses, and other commercial customers are welcome.
What metal items do you NOT accept?
We do not accept certain prohibited or restricted materials. Please visit our Things We Do Not Accept page before bringing in refrigerators, air conditioners, appliances, electronics, hazardous materials, liquids, propane tanks, tires, or other questionable items.
What if I don't know what type of metal I have?
That’s okay. Bring it in and we can help identify and grade the material, or contact us before your visit if you’re unsure.
